What one thing would I change about my writing

If I could change one thing about my writing, I would like to make my papers more stylistic; although I can hash out a fairly decent paper, I always feel like to don’t include any of myself in the papers therefore they end up sounding robotic.

What is an author?

It used to be that when someone called themselves an author one would picture a person who had gone through writing, reviewing, publishing, and had a printed book; with technology the way it is today, an author is basically anyone who has the ability to write and hit publish.
